STATEMENT OF FAITH
- 1. The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, fully sufficient for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness. It is the ultimate guide for faith and practice, equipping believers to live lives that honor God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21) - 2. The Triune God
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and unified in essence, power, and glory. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, sovereign over the universe. (Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 4:4-6, Deuteronomy 6:4) - 3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless life, performed miraculous works, and willingly offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity through His death on the cross. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will personally return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead. (John 1:1-4, Philippians 2:5-11, Luke 1:34-35, Revelation 19:11-16) - 4. Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Humanity, lost and sinful by nature, is reconciled to God through repentance and trust in Christ’s redemptive work. This results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit, transforming believers into new creations. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. (Titus 3:4-7, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10)
- 5. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers all believers. Through His guidance and sanctifying work, Christians are enabled to live godly lives, bear spiritual fruit, and fulfill God’s purposes. The Holy Spirit equips the Church with spiritual gifts for the edification of the body and the advancement of the gospel. (Galatians 5:16-18, Romans 8:9, John 14:16-17, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11) - 6. The Resurrection and Eternal Destiny We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will be raised to eternal life in the presence of God, enjoying everlasting joy and communion with Him. The lost will face eternal separation from God in judgment and condemnation. Heaven and hell are real, and eternal destiny depends on one’s response to the gospel of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:51-57, Revelation 20:11-15, Matthew 25:46)
- 7. The Church
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church, as the body of Christ, is composed of all true believers united by faith. It exists to glorify God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism. All believers are called to serve within the Church, contributing to its mission and the spread of the gospel. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Acts 2:42-47) - 8. The Ministry of Evangelism
We believe that evangelism is both a privilege and a responsibility of the Church and every individual believer. Proclaiming the gospel to all nations and leading others to Christ is central to our faith and mission. Through personal testimony, acts of love, and the teaching of God’s Word, we are called to be ambassadors for Christ, urging the world to be reconciled to God. (Romans 10:9-15, Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20)
This Statement of Faith reflects our foundational beliefs and guides our ministry as we seek to glorify God and advance His Kingdom.
