SALVATION MESSAGE

Who is Jesus Christ?

John 3:17-18 states, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

This passage reveals the heart of God’s mission through Jesus Christ—salvation, not condemnation. But the question remains: Who is Jesus Christ to YOU?

When this question becomes personal, it transforms into the most significant question you will ever encounter. Your answer defines your spiritual destiny and relationship with God.

Jesus Himself said in John 10:10 (NKJV), “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” This abundant life is not merely material wealth or fleeting happiness; it is a deep, eternal connection with God, marked by peace, joy, and purpose.

In 1 John 5:11-13, we are reassured:
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”

Why Jesus?

Jesus Christ is the only way for us to:

  1. Experience abundant life on earth.
  2. Receive eternal life and fellowship with God in heaven.

His death on the cross was not a mere historical event; it was a divine sacrifice. Jesus took upon Himself the punishment for our sins so that we could be made righteous before God. Without receiving the free gift of forgiveness and eternal life that Jesus offers, we face the eternal consequences of our sins.

In John 14:6, Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” This exclusive claim underscores the necessity of accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Jesus as Lord of Your Life

To truly follow Jesus, He must become the Lord of your life. Imagine your life as a vehicle—Jesus should be the one in the driver’s seat, guiding your every decision and direction. Giving Him control allows His wisdom, love, and power to shape your life into what God intended.

How to Accept Jesus Christ?

You can change your life right now by taking these steps:

  1. Admit Your Sin: Recognize that you have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard (Romans 3:23). Confess your sins honestly before God.
  2. Repent of Your Sin: Turn away from sinful behavior and attitudes, and commit to following God’s ways.
  3. Believe in Jesus Christ: Trust in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross as the full payment for your sins. Through His death and resurrection, He offers you forgiveness and eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).
  4. Invite Jesus into Your Life: Ask Jesus to come into your life as Lord and Savior. Give Him full control and trust Him to guide you.

A Prayer for Salvation

If you are ready to make this life-changing decision, pray sincerely:

Dear Lord in Heaven,
I thank You for loving me despite my sins. I recognize that I have fallen short and need Your forgiveness. Thank You for giving Jesus Christ as a gift of salvation. I believe that He died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me eternal life.

Today, I invite Jesus into my heart as my Lord and personal Savior. I surrender my life to You and ask that You guide me every step of the way. Thank You for saving me and giving me the gift of eternal life. I trust in You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
